Seagate makes a great external hard drive. We use ours for media storage, family photo/video backup, school project backup, and much more.
In such a digital age, it's almost required to have extra storage devices.
What we love:
I have a friend who jokingly believes that it's time to get a new PC when the old one "gets filled up". He says, "We have too many videos on this one, time to get a new machine." LOL
Often we can back up our data and digital assets to the cloud. However, it makes sense to have a local copy as well. Portable hard drives are now large enough to hold a huge amount of digital files. The Seagate portable external hard drive is easy to use. Plus, it can go anywhere.
We put our critical files and memorabilia on a pair of portable drives. The one with critical personal files goes in our safe and the one without confidential information is left plugged into the PC. In the case of emergency, anyone can walk by the PC and grab the pocket-sized device and take it along without lugging around a PC. The one in the safe isn't as accessible but everyone in the family knows where it is.
