Camping Cookware/Mess Kit
This modern anodized aluminum mess kit is designed for long term use. It has a pot and pan and several accessories commonly used in survival situations. The cookware kits is intended for personal use and is the perfect size for backpacking.
What we love:
- Light weight - easy to carry in a go-bag relative to it's size and function
- Compact - considering it has pots and pans it collapses into a compact kit
- Right Stuff - we've cooked soup, fish, ready-made meals (hot water), grilled cheese, etc and used most of the items
- Durable - it's held up on over 30 overnight Scout campouts with no dents or scratches
We use our aluminum mess kit all the time. It is light weight for backpacking and has held up really well. We did replace a few of the items from another kit but it's a great place to start, especially for the price.
