Fishing Rod - Abu Garcia
Baitcasting is awesome! We fish for pike and other awesome sport fish. This Abu Garcia bait casting rod/reel combo is a great package to get started.
What we love:
- The length and stiffness are perfect for larger fish
- The reel has a great ratio and drag system
We love to fish! We love fly fishing streams and rivers, boat fishing lakes, drift fishing, etc. Having the right rod reel combo makes all the difference between a rough day on the water and a smooth day focused on fishing and not fixing.
When we fish pike, bass and other big fish we huck out our bait with a sturfy baitcasting system. The Abu Garcia/Black Max combo is great for your avid fisherman. We love the low profile feel and the stiff action.
Recommendations:
- if you're a beginner shop around a bit - for this price you probably won't find a better deal
- don't get into bait fishing as a beginner - casting can be problematic - get a spinner rod/reel combo
