Vortex Optics 1-4x24 Scope
Vortex optics are fantastic for shooting. The 4x24 scope is a great option for a sports rifle or hunting rifle.
We've tested it on an AR-15 and it works great!
What we love:
- Red lit reticle
- Well balanced, justifiable weight
- Shockproof
I love the red lighted reticle for this scope. It's definitely heavier than a standard red-dot but if you need to zoom in the tradeoff is very worth it.
We tested it on an AR-15. We used it on a paper target as well as hunting rodents. The reticle is very welcome when shooting at a mid to longer distance. It's preferred to a standard red dot when high accuracy is required. My next scope purchase will be this one.
Recommendations:
- I've seen duel optics mounts with this as the main scope and a small red dot at a 45
- Reduce the rest of the gear on the front of the rifle to keep the rifle light
