Coleman Dome Tent for Camping
This is the tent you take for overnight car camping. Best for 2-3 people. 2 cots fit great.
This one is the right size, has that dark room technology (seems gimicky but you can sleep after the sun has risen), and it takes a beating. Takes 5 minutes to set up.

I am a Scoutmaster. My son wanted to get his Eagle Scout before he turned 13. That meant 20 campouts in nearly as many months. Whew!! I didn't want to use the expensive backpacking tent for car campouts. This is a great option to replace the backpacking tent or family tent.
This is a great basic tent and it often goes on sale. Two GUYs can set it up in 3-5 minutes. It's waterproof so it protects well against the elements.
Lately, when I go car camping, I take the cot. It fits great. The dark-room tech means you can sleep in.
Cons:
- the fiberglass poles are cheap - I'm guessing the poles will need to be replaced soon
